Recently, the CEO- Hj Jasmin Jamil has expanded his business into agricultural sector which is agarwood/gaharu plantation in Balik Pulau, Penang. The plantation has 11,000 agarwood trees as well as agrotourism facilities for the local community. JGH has signed an MOA with UMP on August 2020 for collaboration via Malaysia Technical University Network (MTUN) research grant to develop high quality agarwood based on effective inoculant technology using commercialized product (OUDInoTM), developed by Assoc. Prof Dr. Saiful Nizam Tajuddin and Bio Aromatic team. OUDIno™ is a low cost, effective and natural based inoculant using effective microbial technology. It is able to boost up production of agarwood so that less time required for the plants to be marketed.
